P&O Cruises has revealed the identity of Arvia's godmother. Following a series of teaser videos on Twitter on Wednesday, P&O Cruises> has named none other than American singer-songwriter and television personality Nicole Scherzinger as the godmother of Arvia. Scherzinger will double up as an entertainment partner, singer and performer. “As a global superstar, Nicole is well placed to create contemporary and breathtaking late-night shows, which will be performed in SkyDome on our two newest ships, Iona and Arvia.” “Through her many appearances on some of the UK’s best-loved shows, Nicole has won the hearts of the British public. She really is the epitome of zest for life, and as a critically-acclaimed talent, she joins a line-up of world-famous godmothers and partners for P&O Cruises. Her involvement reflects everything P&O stands for - a modern, forward-thinking holiday company that has always excelled in the levels of cutting-edge entertainment we provide.” Appointing a godmother is a long-standing cruise tradition. Past P&O godmothers include Dame Helen Mirren, Darcey Bussell, and even the late Queen Elizabeth II.
